About
From Windows to OS X, OS X from a Windows Perspective: A Switchers Guide has been an idea of mine for some time now. The concept is easy…
If you are a Windows user and have recently switched or have purchased your first Mac, you know the Windows interface inside and out but would like to know the equivalent in Apple’s OS X. That’s where this site comes in.
The site is designed from a Windows user perspective. To start, you will find the Windows Categories section on the right hand sidebar. The Categories list pertains to Windows features and objects such as the Desktop and Control Panel. Each Category will have one or more posts associated with it that will contain screen shots and explanations of the OS X equivalent function.
So for example, you know that to change the mouse settings in Windows, you would go to the Control Panel, but in OS X where do you go? Simple, go to Windows Categories and click the Control Panel category. There you will be presented with the equivalent OS X utility to access the mouse preferences.
